Of course there is! These pictures all show perfectly dull and ordinary aircraft. Stockport is on the flightpath to Manchester airport. In many cases when I took these photographs I could clearly see the landing gear from the ground.

What is the point of these UFO pages? To show that regular cameras can't always take good pictures of unidentified flying objects because they are often pretty lousy at taking good shots of easily identifiable flying objects! If you see a duff looking photo that isn't proof of fakery and if you see a really clear one you should ask yourself why the person had such good quality photographic gear handy. Keep watching the skies.Send me more UFO photos!
My "close encounter" was of a particularly tall set of lights which illuminate the car park of Sainsbury's at Cheadle Royal, a ring of bright lights plus a red light (it is under the flight-path of the airport) the twinkling effect is easily obtained by moving about a bit and letting branches from the tall pine tree obscure the lights while standing in such a way as the tree trunks obscure the pillar the lights are on. Have you got a camera? Can you take more "alien" looking pictures of perfectly ordinary aircraft or other banal lights in the sky? Just use low light, drizzle, low cloud (never in short supply in Stockport!) and lighting flare from street lights etc. Just use the limitations of the camera to do the work for you. Why not send them in, I'll showcase them here! I'm not trying to prove aliens exist or that they don't. All I'm doing is showing how poor most "chance" photos of flying craft showing flashing lights SHOULD BE EXPECTED TO BE. I carry a 2 megapixel digital camera around with me all the time, I don't carry a ?8&5$ing tripod and 3 kilos of zoom lens! |
