I use TRILLIAN PRO as an instant messaging service to give me access to ICQ, AIM, Yahoo and MSN Messenger services simultaneously, without advertisements. It also handles the audio and video capabilities of these services as well. It can also be customized and expanded.
I also try to keep up to date on the latest versions of the full programs, just in case Trillian is half a step behind.
The sequence is alphabetical, I have no great preferences between the competing systems, other than a desire to see competition stay healthy and productive for users. I suggest you try Trillian, it allows you to use all the instant messaging systems at the same time and stay in touch with everybody.
