I admit that some of the pictures used on the quiz are taken without consent of the copyright holder. However this is not a serious issue for the following reasons:
I see a clear distinction between quoting and stealing. The images are quoted, sampled, not passed off as the originals. There is no loss to the copyright owner. I am not passing the images off as my own or using them against the interests of the copyright holder. I have used hundreds of borrowed images without complaint, if you, as the copyright holder, feel that I have done something against your interests please let me know and I will remove the material within minutes of receiving the request. As to the hypocrisy of claiming copyright on the pages of the quiz my answer is clear, I would not object to one or two of my ideas being borrowed, but I would object to somebody passing off my work as their own. Everybody borrows ideas and inspiration, but I would object to somebody simply copying my entire quiz or substantial portions of it and putting their name on the top. |
