I admit that some of the pictures used on the quiz are taken without consent of the copyright holder. However this is not a serious issue for the following reasons:

My use of such pictures in no way damages the site from which the material is taken. I do not steal bandwidth or visitors. Nobody goes looking for particular images and finds them on my site rather than the site they came from. If a site with a large collection of impressionist paintings exist and I borrow an image from it the people looking for impressionist pictures do not find my site, neither do they find what they need from my site. Nobody will find them by looking for the originals, people will only find them by looking for quiz questions and answers.

Images are usually altered to deter further duplication.

I see a clear distinction between quoting and stealing. The images are quoted, sampled, not passed off as the originals. There is no loss to the copyright owner. I am not passing the images off as my own or using them against the interests of the copyright holder. I have used hundreds of borrowed images without complaint, if you, as the copyright holder, feel that I have done something against your interests please let me know and I will remove the material within minutes of receiving the request.

As to the hypocrisy of claiming copyright on the pages of the quiz my answer is clear, I would not object to one or two of my ideas being borrowed, but I would object to somebody passing off my work as their own. Everybody borrows ideas and inspiration, but I would object to somebody simply copying my entire quiz or substantial portions of it and putting their name on the top.
