| I am happy about you
being a bloody tree hugging hippy your sport is most stupid
sighed by Teresa Green
|
| Do a little more research.
We have more tree's now than ever before known to man kind. If you
think that the humans are invading the planet then don't contribute
to the repopulation. |
Of course I just take the word of an ignoramus who uses an apostrophe
for a plural.
Where did you get such a ridiculous notion from?

| Don't worry. Al Gore
invented the internet and 2nd hand smoke kills. The Mall of America
was a failure and we need light rail to stop grid-lock traffic.

Hi my name is Pieter
and I am a founder of the effort to save the Highlands of NY, NJ
and Pa.- over a million acres. I endorse tree-hugging; but don't
think "Sustainable Development" is a good term to use,
as it is too easily misinterpreted by the development community
and misused. Let's not call conservation by any other name than
conservation: And let's not call development by any other name than
development - it's that simple. Let's work for negative population
growth in humans and positive population growth in trees and all
other species that we, "the most advanced species", have
had a negative impact upon.

Why is there this polarization? I get attacked as being crazy
for expressing an interest in the environment, people assume I am
indifferent or hostile to the economy and agree with anti-development,
anti-capitalist, misanthropic sentiments simply because I express
a liking for trees. I don't. OK?
I want to see development, change and a healthy economy as well
as respecting nature and trying to preserve and/or increase the
number of trees in our environment. Tough choices need to be made,
trees will need to be removed at times and some developments will
need to be curtailed. I want to see a healthy balance. That cannot
be achieved by deifying either trees or money and jobs.

Its not the fact that you love your tree,
or proud of it because its in your yard and it stands the tallest.
Its when that tree becomes more important than life its self, etc.,
abortions, Mans own free will, 2nd amendment, rite to prey etc.
|
Rite to prey? Very sinister!
