The Norwegian Tragedy: Never be Silenced

(YouTube video above is NOT the same script. See the bottom of this page for the video of this page.)

The attempt by the leftists to use the Norwegian tragedy to clamp down even further on the discussion of the threat posed by Islam to Europe is absolutely repulsive. It is using tragedy and death as a political weapon to further the cause of censorship and the attempt to make all discussion which is not on their agenda somehow illegitimate.

There seems to be an idea that nobody can ever do such a terrible thing unless they have been lead to it by other people, that the actions of one person are too big for that person's own shoulders and guilt must be shared around. This is outrageous. There is a Rubicon to be crossed between analysing a problem and using violence in an attempt to address it. Is everybody who says that abortion is murder guilty of the murders of abortion doctors? Millions of Americans say that abortion is murder only a few dozen are ever likely to use violence against people involved in conducting abortions. A nun in Guatemala City praying for the souls of what she sees are murdered babies is not guilty of murdering abortion doctors in Tennessee or wherever it is that they do such things. I am very clear about that.

An imam who says that women who wear short skirts are sinful and that America is murdering their Muslim brothers in Afghanistan is not guilty of terrorism or jihad. There is a line and it is sometimes crossed. The line comes when people ask other people to conduct acts of violence or suggest that violence is the only answer. There are people on YouTube who are talking about violence and relishing the prospect but they are a small minority and they have little or no public profile. They're trolls. I see them posting now and again their idiotic nonsense, rarely more a single short sentence, usually along the lines of death to Muslims or drive the towelheads into the sea or such like.
When I see such messages I delete them.

If you have subscribed to me [on YouTube] there is a good chance that I have thanked you for doing so. That's not because I am terribly polite and well brought up as much as that I take precautions to avoid the kind of people who regard violence as the preferred and most enjoyable strategy to deal with perceived problems. I try to avoid or remove friend links and subscriptions from people who look like they intend to cause me trouble or associate my views with a quick resort to violence. It's an inexact science, a sort of applied prejudice, looking at a channel page and seeing if there are too many flags, fascist symbols, guns or swords on display to be consistent with sanity. It doesn't always work, there are probably false positives as well as false negatives, but a version of it did help a friend of mine reject a friend invite from a YouTube user named Andrew Berwick who had lots of swastikas and images of Crusader knights on his page.

Trying to pin blame on Pat Condell for this tragedy is truly despicable, we should all shun people who make such outrageous claims. Although this hasn't required me to add anybody to my list of people not to have anything to do with because the culprits are all the usual suspects. Muslim appeasers, leftists who regard nationalism as offensive and those who think that wanting to live in a country which is not being destroyed by multiculturalism is a form of evil.

Examine your conscience here. Have you ever called for violence, war or a fight on this issue? Have you made statements about political struggle which could be interpreted as calls for physical violence? If you have is that because you have been reckless or just because people have a great capacity to hear what they want to hear? I don't feel any guilt at all. Some people have heard hints of violence in my words but that is because they have wanted to. I once said that mass killing is wrong but we cannot permanently rule out all actions which might be seen as illiberal – apparently this meant I was endorsing and promoting mass killing. All I can say is what the fuck? There are clearly things which are always wrong and never right, killing people, genocide and the like are right up there. But if we regard anything other than more freedom and more openness as legitimate strategies how can we possibly resist those who would use our decency as a weapon against us? If you are facing an invading army of Daleks you can't stop them in their tracks by telling them you don't mind if they marry each other or say rude things about Prince Charles or Davros. You can't turn stormtroopers or jihadits into Care Bears just by loving them. In fact the loving people into changing their minds trick only ever works in sickly-sweet fiction. In real life love and tolerance aren't weapons of persuasion at all. Increasing freedom isn't a weapon against a fascist takeover or an alien invasion. When being tolerant and open and liberal and nice doesn't work any longer then you have to consider the possibility of using other tactics, but this should be a done with small steps, you don't go straight from pretending there isn't a problem at all to mass murder. Yes, in the final analysis when push comes to shove and if it becomes a battle for survival then violence may be necessary to defend our way of life. It would be utter madness to put on the record that we will never fight and we will surrender rather than use violence against anybody because they will just threaten you with violence and get you to surrender.

If we don't want our world taken over by Muslims we should not start with violence or terrorism we should start by telling people. The leftists want to silence you, all the more reason that you should keep saying what you believe. My country is not a Muslim country, it never has been a Muslim country and it is not going to become one. That's all you have to say, to all who will listen, and doubly so to those who will not. Never let them silence you.

When a body isn't digesting what it is eating continuing to eat is crazy. We have not digested our Muslim populations yet, they have not assimilated, they are still Muslims and many of them are still Muslims before they are anything else. We clearly need to stop allowing in any more Muslims until the current crop of Muslims have assimilated. If they never do assimilate then we certainly don't want any more. It is outrageous that the liberal elites have made people consider that such views are extreme, deviant and not legitimate, not fit to be aired in public lest the ideas affect the sensitive children. It seems that in my lifetime what can be said about sex has gone from nothing to everything and what one can say about life, death, class, race, morality and religion has gone from everything to nothing.
